Carer Awareness

Many carers don't identify as carers and are unaware they are entitled to our free support services.  By identifying carers in your professional role you can ensure they receive the essential information and support they are entitled to:

Who are we and how do we help unpaid carers?

Sheffield Carers Service is part of Crossroads Care Rotherham (Charity No: 1062664) and offers a range of support for unpaid adult carers over the age of 18. 

  • Carers who live in Sheffield (regardless of where the cared-for person lives) can access our Universal Services which includes free advice, information and group support.

  • If the cared-for person is an adult living in Sheffield carers can access all our support including our Carer Assessment Service.
